Behind the Scenes Edit

  • This unit's full name is "Flugabwehrkanonenpanzer Gepard", which translates to English as "Anti-aircraft cannon tank Cheetah".
  • The Gepard is one of two anti-air units in "Shattered Union" to use automatic cannons, the other being the Shilka.
  • The Gepard is built on the hull of the Leopard 1 MBT. It is the only AA unit in the game that is built of a modified tank hull and not a truck, armored personnel carrier, or as a purpose-designed vehicle like the Chaparral.
